Okay so this recession bites! I've seen it affect a huge chunk of my family and friends (and coworkers.)

I'm not ashamed to say that I've been on ten interviews and still haven't gotten a call back asking when I can start. It's extremely frustrating but I can't stop. Obviously, those jobs/internships that I was interviewing for weren't meant to be.

I also haven't been working as much. January and February can be some of the worst months in the retail industry. Stores start receiving spring merchandise and most of the winter collection have gone on sale and are pretty much sold out or transferred out. No one really wants to buy shorts or tank tops when they have credit card bills to pay off from the holidays (not to mention it's freezing outside.)

With all this free time I've been working revising my resume and whoring it out to every single website possible (Craigslist, Careerbuilder, Monster, workinretail... you name it). I am probably one of very few who don't resort to the temptations of lying on their resume. I just can't do it. I don't stretch out the date ranges nor do I exaggerate my job descriptions.

I'm not going to lie but I was a bit tempted to try it out LMFAO!!! HEY, at least it's a much more forward than those other sites. Perhaps they're trying to reach a younger market because what 20 year old want to admit that they're on eharmony.com. LOL!

So if I had a fuckload of money right now, besides paying off my student loans and going on vacation I would buy a few things:



But of course these are fantasies lol.
